The cost for the 45 min – 1 hour tour including tea/coffee afterwards is just £6 per person.

Future Rail Strategy
The Rail Technical Strategy was published a little over a year ago, setting out the technology needs and opportunities for the national railway in Great Britain. It was produced collaboratively by the industry, and is central to the delivery of a better railway over the next two decades.
The lecture will be given by Francis How (Technical Director of the Railway Industry Association) and will provide the background and context to the Strategy, explore its content, and explain how it is being funded, enabled and implemented within the current industry structure. It will include an overview of the technology-based opportunities in the fields of rolling stock, track, signalling, information systems, and energy management, as well as customer-facing innovations.
Young Rail Professionals Stakeholder Networking Event, The Roundhouse
Young Rail Professionals (YRP) will be hosting a Stakeholder Networking Event in Derby on Thursday 6 March at The Roundhouse in the ‘Carriage Shop Theatre’. The event is between 18:00 to 21:00 with refreshments provided.
